That might help the 3ware card recognize a different IRQ or something. Keep everyone posted. If I think of anything else, I will e-mail you. .... Look at the SMP file, it's basically "options smp; include GENERIC"... just copy the GENERIC to your own config, remove the driver(s) you don't require, add 'options SMP'
